OUTLINE ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival: 15 -20 Minute drive (Airport to Hotel) AIT representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel
Day 2
Kathmandu Sight-seeing: 3-4 hours. After breakfast, you are being prepared for joining a guided tour of the amazing sightseeing of the Kathmandu Valley. You can visit Durbar Square, Swayambhunath ‘Monkey’ Temple, the famous Hindu temple – Pashupatinath and the largest Stupa in Nepal – Boudhanath onwards at afternoon we gather for a pre trek briefing and introduction to your trek leader & make arrangements for your ‘trek pack’. In the Evening AIT organizes welcome dinner at a local restaurant
Day 3
Arrival at Paro. O/n.
Day 4
Sight seeing tour Around Paro. O/n.
Day 5
Commence cycle tour to east cross Dochula pass and camp at Khuruthang. O/n.
Day 6
After Punakha Dzong, continue towards Gangte gompa via Wangdiphodrang.
Day 7
Back to Norbuling and then cross Pelela pass towards Tongsa Dzong. O/n Tongsa.
Day 8
Cycle up to Yotola and then down to Dumkhar and Chumi & onward to Bumthang.
Day 9
Sight seeing of Bumthan valley. O/n.
Day 10
Cycle to Ura and then to Sengor. O/n.
Day 11
Cycle up to the pass and then down to Kuru Zam. O/n.
Day 12
A short climb to Mongar Dzong and rest.
Day 13
A short climb to Mongar Dzong and rest.
Day 14
Day trip to Kanglung college Bhutan’s only English medium University. O/n
Day 15
Return trip by driving to Mongar.
Day 16
Return trip by driving to Tongsa. O/n.
Day 17
Return trip by driving to Thimpu. O/n.
Day 18
At Thimphu. Sight seeing.O/N
Day 19
At Thimphu. Sight seeing.O/N
Day 20
Drive to Paro departure for Kathmandu.O/N
Day 21
Departure: You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internate to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onwards to your next destination
