Day 01
Arrival: 15 -20 Minute drive. AIT representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel
Day 02
Kathmandu Sight-seeing: 3-4 hours. After breakfast, you are being prepared for joining a guided tour of the amazing sightseeing of the Kathmandu Valley. You can visit Durbar Square, Swayambhunath ‘Monkey’ Temple, the famous Hindu temple – Pashupatinath and the largest Stupa in Nepal – Boudhanath onwards at afternoon we gather for a pre trek briefing and introduction to your trek leader & make arrangements for your ‘Visit Expedition Crew’. In the Evening AIT organizes welcome dinner at a local restaurant
Day 03
Pokhara to Ulleri Early morning- 25 minutes flight to Pokhara (Lake City) and continue one-hour drive to Nayapul. From where the trail descends steeply to Birethanti and follows the East bank of Bhurungdi Khola and reaches to Tikhedhunga. Continue up the hill trek to Ulleri (2073 m) for over night. This is a small village where you can have night stay. Especially this village offers any one of its indigenous Magar Cultures.
Day 04
Ulleri to Ghorepani/Deurali The trail ascends to Ulleri village, through uncountable steps and you reach the Banthati Village from where you can see the fantastic views of more pleasant terraces and river down to the valley. The trails then follows through Rhododendron forest thriving at the top of Ghorepani pass at 2855m and overnight stay.
Day 05
Ghorepani - Poon Hill to Tadapani Early in the morning, trek to Poonhill where one may witness the sunrise for a lifetime memory. From Poonhill one can view over 30 white-capped peaks, the whole Annapurna range. Many people talk about having a life challenging experience after watching the sunrise over the panorama of the Himalayas. Then, walk through the forest filled with flowers (in the spring). Overnight stay at Tadapani (2600m)
Day 06
Tadapani to Chomrung Early morning see fantastic view of Machhapuchhare and Annapurna south. After breakfast descends through steep forest a gentle slope we arrive at a stream that needs crossing. We slash across the cultivated fields and climb a mountain path to arrive at Tarun. We continue along the ridge path offering excellent view of the Annapurna range. We then descend to the Modi River and continue along a leveled path. At the final stretch we descend a stoned path to arrive at Chomrung (2019 m) for Overnight
Day 07
Chomrung to Doban We descend through fields to arrive and cross at the Chomrung River. We then ascend through a forested slope to Kurdi. After Kurdi we descend steeply to the Modi River. We travel along a rocky path and through the dense bamboo forest we will reach to Doban (2673m) for camp
Day 08
Dovan to Deurali Follow the trail above the river, cross a landslide and over an avalanche track. The trail becomes rocky and steep through a thick forest. A short steep ascend sees us at Hinko, with its overload rock protrusion giving a cave-like impression. Cross a ravine and make your way up through large boulders until you reach Deurali (3048) for the night
Day 09
Durali to Machhapuchhare Base camp We cross a stream to descend to the Modi riverbed. We then climb gradually to arrive at the elevation valley where the Machhapuchhare base camp (3703m) is located. Walking time is about 4 hours, but due to the sharp increase in elevation, we will go no further. From here Center-fold’ views of Machhapuchhare, Annapurna III, Fang and Annapurna South is quite spectacular
Day 10
We further climb easy snow slopes and steep climb requires gaining the slat rim. From the east ridge we climb steeply on a knife-edged ridge, which finally leads to the to the east along the marine ridge and set base camp in a grassy area above the marine (4,115m.).
Day 11
We will gain to a ridge and fix the high camp at 4, 870m which can be snow covered. From the high camp we climb easy slopes on the glacier below the west face of Tharpu Chuli. We further cross the glacier and reach the foot of the fluted wall, which separates Tharpu Chuli summit.Trek down to Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 12
Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo. Trek down to all the way to Bamboo.
Day 13
Trek to Chomrong/Hot spring. Continue the trail back down to Chomrung (2019 m) for the night.
Day 14
Hot spring to Nayapul to Pokhara. All the way decending edge of modi Khola and get down to Birethanti. Shost walk after catch by car to Pokhara O/N
Day 15
Pokhara to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus.O/n Hotel
Day 16
Departure: You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internate to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onwards to your next destination
