Day 01
Kathmandu You are welcomed by AIT representative at Tribhuvan Airport and transport you to your Katmandu hotel. They will offer you for a welcome drink and cover off any questions you may have and give you helpful tips for your time in Katmandu. Later that afternoon we gather for a pre trek briefing and introductions to your trek leader and Spirit team, and make arrangements for your ‘trek pack’. Free in the evening but the guide usually organizes dinner at a local restaurant in the heart of Katmandu.
Day 02
Sightseeing Tour First take a relaxing breakfast in Katmandu before joining a guided tour of the amazing city sightseeing of Katmandu. You will visit Durbar Square, Swayambhunath ‘Monkey’ Temple, the famous Hindu temple – Pashupatinath and the largest Stupa in Nepal – Boudha.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Besishar to Sangya by Drive Early start to make the bus journey around 6 hours to Besisahar (850m), again onwards drive to Sangya by jeep. Your adventure begins! Passing through many small villages on the way will fascinate you with snippets of every day living in these lowland villages.
Day 04
Sangya to Dharapani, Now time to enter the Manang district after passing fields of Corn. Barley and potatoes, and then through forests of bamboo and Rhododendrons. Dharapani (1950m) is the place where you can spend the night at 2160m. Many of the villages you will encounter with typical Tibetan architecture
Day 05
Dharapani to Chame Today you will negotiate a few steep forested landscapes, along with several landslides on route, remember to look up though, as you will receive some sensational views of major Himalayan peaks. Your destination for the night is Chame at 2,630m.
Day 06
Chame to Upper Pisang (Ghyaru) A narrow steep path through a very dense forest will bring you to the dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. As the trail opens up you will be surrounded by Himalayan Peaks all the way to Upper Pisang, at 3700m.

Day 10
High camp to Summit and back to Base camp Pisang Peak rises above Pisang village and the green yak pastures in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final pyramid summit. Pisang peak is considered one of the easier climbing peaks among the trekking peaks in Nepal. To reach the base camp from Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse forested areas and pasture to a Kharka (4380m), which is considered the best place for setting up base camp. Where you will spend another day for rest acclimatization and last preparation for climbing. Next day after breakfast trek continue to ‘High Camp’ is set up at 5400m, climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge. There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. The well-defined ridge leads to the final snow slop, which is quite steep, however, it is not difficult to reach the summit. The descent is made along the same route. Although this climb is considered to be among the easier of the Himalayan region, a reasonably high level of physical fitness and health is still strongly recommended.
Day 11
Base camp to Upper Pisang (Ghyaru)
Day 12
Upper Pisang (Ghyaru) to Manang Enter the upper Manang region, where the rainfall is much lower. You will notice much contrast with the landscape and vegetation; the cold arid climate creates a much harsher environment. This area is a fascinating mix of barren cliffs and exotic rock formations in contrast to the snow covered Himalayan peaks. You have entered another world; Manang Village is set at 3500m. The village itself is fascinating; there are also some spectacular side trips not far away. The glacial lake below the icefall is mandatory. The village consists of about 500 flat roofed houses and is picturesquely set amongst spectacular scenery: Annapurna II, Annapurna III, (24787 ft), Gangapurna (24,457 ft) to the south: Tilicho (23,400 ft) and the Grand Barrier, to the west; Chulu west (21,599 ft) and Chulu East (19,880 ft) to north.
Day 13
Manang to Yak Kharka Start ascents up to the Throng La Pass. Today is a short walk up to Yak Kharka, a small settlement set at 4090m. Gradual ascent is the key to avoiding altitude problems.
Day 14
Yak Kharka to Throng Phedi Make your way to the foot of the pass, Throng Phedi (4600). A small although busy settlement catering to the needs of a multitude of trekkers and climbers that use this point as a base camp.
Day 15
Throng Phedi to Muktinath through crossing Throngla 5416. reaching Muktinath in the afternoon and drive to Jomsom O/N
Day 16
Jomsom to Pokhara to Kathmandu by flight O/N Hotel in Kathmandu
Day 17
Departure: You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internate to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onwards to your next destination
