Day 01
Arrival: 15 -20 Minute drive (Airport to Hotel): AIT representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. After having formal introduction, you are being served with welcome drink at the hotel. They will give you helpful tips for your time in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel
Day 02
Kathmandu sightseeing tour & Trek preparation: Today after breakfast we will start a guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddha Nath) which is one of the large Stupas in the world. After completed city tour In the afternoon, there will be a pre-trip discussion where we can meet our trek leader and other team members. Adventure International Trekking briefs you regarding your trek as well as provides us opportunity to ask any questions we may have regarding our upcoming trekking.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Syabru Besi by Bus: Make an early start to the bus journey around 8 hours to Syabru Besi (2040m) the starting point of the trek. From here, the adventure begins! Passing through many small villages on the way will be fascinating you with snippets of every day living in these lowland villages.
Day 04
Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel: Crossing through the suspension bridge and heading precipitously along a stream. The River we are following is mostly the Langtang River. You can enjoy the walk going through mix forest (Bamboos, rhododendron and Alpine forest area). Night stay at Lama Hotel (2800m).
Day 05
Lama hotel to Ghore Tabela: After having breakfast we will continue our trip to our next destination. We are starting our trip descending towards a steep forest slope to the Langtang River. We cross a bridge and head up with a winding path. We then enter a forest on a gentle incline en route for gradually gain altitude. We get ahead of Gumba and climb a steep hill to come to Ghoretabela (3010m) set in a wide valley. During the night at camp
Day 06
Ghore Tabela to Kyanjin Gompa: Hike transversely along fields and cross a steep hill. Here the forest line split ends. We follow a gentle path leading to alpine meadows. Ascends to the meadows to enter the village of Langtang. We pass through the village’s stone-built houses and climb to a Chorten and passed a huge Mani along a gentle path of a hill. The valley relocate to a U-shaped one (glacial valley) as we enter into a level of riverbed. Kim shuns (6745m) and Tsenji (6543m) Himal can be seen. After crossing on the side of moraine we arrive at Kyanjin Gompa (3840m) for over night camp.
Day 07
Kyanjin Gompa Explore day: Visit after the breakfast at Tserko RI (5000m) for fantastic view of the Lang tang range. Back to guesthouse for Lunch having short rest and walk around the Kyanjing valley with guide.
Day 08
Kyanjin Gompa Langshisha Kharka explore: After breakfast we follow the sandy path east past the government Tibet lodge and through the yak encrusted meadow. Cross a stream running through a moraine of snow-white boulders. Walk down the hill beyond to the flat valley floor passing roofless yak herders huts. This flat area must once have been the bed of an ancient lake and the hill you just walked down is an alluvial fan. It’s so flat you could build a bowling green down here. Pass a waterfall on the left and a hillock on the right with a chorten on top and huts on the far side.
Day 09
Kyanjin Gompa to Ngegang: Trek 4.5km (4hrs) from Kyangjin Gompa to Ngegang. This is the last good camping place before arriving at Helambu. Overnight stay in tents
Day 10
Ngegang to Keldang: We will leave early in the morning to cross Ganja-La Pass (5,160m/16,930ft) before the sun gets to high in the sky. This will obviously be one of the more strenuous trekking days (16km/8-9hrs), so remember to breathe and pace your self. After crossing the pass the route descends to a small stream at 4,400m. Following the stream we reach Keldang (4,280m), where we will stop for the night and camp Overnight stay in tents
Day 11
Keldang to Dukpu: Trek 7km (6-7hrs) to Dukpu, a summer settlement for the villagers of Helambu. This will be a long day of walking along the ridge.

Day 12
Dukpu to Tarke Ghyang: Trek 11.5km (6hrs) to Tarke Ghyang. From Dukpu the trail descends along the ridge, before climbing to the pass where we will have views of the Dorje Lakpa Range. The trail further descends, often steeply, to Tarke Ghyang Village (largest Sherpa settlements in Helambu).Overnight stay in tents
Day 13
Tharke Ghyang to Kakanidanda: Trek 7 hours to Kakanidada. From Tarke Ghyang a gradual flat trail winds through pine and rhododendron forest to the attractive villages of Gangjwal and Shermathang. The walk, though long (20km/7hrs), is beautiful through the forest as the trail remains high above the Melamchi River Valley. From Shermathang the trail descends gradually along the ridge to Kakanidada.Overnight stay in tents
Day 14
Kakanidanda to Kathmandu: Trek 10.5km/3hrs to Melamchi Pull Bazaar. The trail descends steeply along the ridge to the confluence of the Melamchi and Indrawati River. As we descend, the Dorje Lakpa Range looms stunningly to the north. From Melamchi Bazaar we will drive 102km/4hrs back to Kathmandu.Check in to hotel
Day 15
Departure: You could catch up on some last minute shopping, Internate to your friends and family before departure to Airport or onwards to your next destination
